Pet of the Week: Spork

Put some spark into your life with Spork, our Pet of the Week!

This five-year-old pittie boy has an interesting back story. He was a stray that walked into a local bar looking for help, and since then he’s been charming everyone he meets!

Spork is a smart and resourceful dog, though he can take a minute to warm up to you. Once he does, this 60-pound bundle of love is all about pets, scritches, and cuddles. He also loves a good romp in the yard. After playtime, save some room on the sofa, because Spork loves to cuddle and snooze. He also already knows many basic commands, and is eager to learn more.

Spork would do well with dog-savvy kids or adults who take time to get to know him and help him burn off his excess energy. He is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. As our Pet of the Week, Spork’s adoption fee is reduced, but a pet license fee may still apply. Learn about all the benefits that come with a King County pet license at kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet.

Thanks to our friends at Rover, all dog adopters at RASKC get a $40 voucher toward training. His new family can also benefit from enrolling Spork in Fetch Pet Insurance. Fetch offers the most comprehensive plan in North America with no restrictions on breed, age, or size. Together, RASKC and Fetch are making sure pets are happy and healthy in their new forever homes!
