Pet of the Week: Benny
It’s the best day of the week – Pet of the Week Day! And here’s Benny to celebrate!
This four-year-old pittie boy came to us in mid-December after being surrendered by his previous owner. At just under 50 pounds, Benny is considered a medium breed dog.
Benny is an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to hang out with you at home. He’s also a playful boy, full of energy – he loves his toys! Because he’s so full of energy, he does best when he gets lots of exercise and activities to keep his mind busy.
Benny may get nervous in new situations, so he’ll need people who understand that he may take some time to warm up. He’s pretty shy as well, so Benny would do best in a calm, quiet home with adults only, or with older children or teenagers.
If you’re ready to meet him, Benny is ready to meet you! He’s neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in pet health insurance through Trupanion and a rebate on training from Rover. Because he’s our Pet of the Week, Benny’s adoption fee is reduced, though a pet license fee may still apply. Learn about all the benefits that come with a pet license at kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet.
We invite you to visit the King County Pet Adoption Center, 21615 64th Ave. S. in Kent soon! We’re open noon to 5 p.m. weekdays and noon to 4 p.m. weekends for pet adoptions.
