We know that times are tough for many of our neighbors. Especially at this time of year, people can struggle to put food on their table – or kibble in their pet’s bowl.

That’s why in addition to our twice-monthly weekend Pet Food Banks, we’re hosting additional events on Wednesdays in December to help those in need.

Stop by the King County Pet Adoption Center, 21615 64th Ave. S. in Kent, any time between 1 and 4 p.m. on December 10, 17, 24, and 31. Along with food and supplies for cats and dogs, we’ll also have food and supplies available for pets like rabbits and guinea pigs. We also welcome donations of pet food and supplies from the community during the food bank hours.

We will also continue to host our weekend Pet Food Banks this month. The next events are on Sunday, December 14 from 1 to 5 p.m. and Saturday, December 27 from 9 a.m. to noon. You can also find a map of food banks around the Puget Sound region that offer pet food on our website at kingcounty.gov/PetAssistance.
