Pet of the Week: Ford
Our Pet of the Week Ford is ready to drive right into your life!
This two-year-old Labrador Retriever mix is a silly and energetic boy with quite the personality. He’s considered a medium to large breed dog.
Ford loves to run around the yard and he’s very good at fetch. He keeps his kennel very clean, and is very gentle with his stuffed toys. Ford is working on his skills, and is already good at “sit” and “wait.” He’s also very food motivated, which will help when teaching him new skills.
The person who found Ford says he was very excited when he saw other dogs, so it appears Ford gets along with canine pals. When meeting dogs in his new home, a slow introduction is recommended. You can also bring your dog to the Pet Adoption Center for a meet and greet with Ford!
Ford is a sweet boy. He loves to cuddle with people, and will sit right on you to demand love and scratches. All he needs is a home to call his own.
Are you ready for Ford? He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in pet health insurance from Trupanion and a rebate on training from Rover. During our “Home for the Holidays” pet adoption special this month, you can take Ford home for just $30 – the cost of a King County pet license. Learn about all the benefits that come with a pet license at kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet.
