Pet of the Week: Vanta
Take advantage of our “Fur-ever Thankful” special to adopt Vanta, our Pet of the Week!
This two-year-old Labrador Retriever mix came to us via a good Samaritan in mid-September. At almost 60 pounds, Vanta is considered a large breed dog.
Vanta is a handsome boy who loves to play and to go exploring on walks. He is very smart and treat motivated, so that will help with training – he already knows “sit” and “shake,” and is also potty trained! Note that Vanta occasionally spends time in a foster home, so visit our website to learn how to meet and adopt on the Foster Path.
Can you give this sweet boy the loving home he wants and deserves? Vanta is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in pet health insurance from Trupanion and a rebate on training from Rover. During our “Fur-ever Thankful” pet adoption special this month, you can take Vanta home for just $30 – the cost of a King County pet license. Learn about all the benefits that come with a pet license at kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet.
We have so many cats, dogs, and other pet friends to choose from – why not stop on by? The King County Pet Adoption Center is located at 21615 64th Ave. S. in Kent.
