Pet of the Week: Harrison
Look at that big smile! This is Harrison, our Pet of the Week!
This five-year-old German Shepherd mix is a very smart boy, and has been practicing his commands at the Pet Adoption Center. At 45 pounds, Harrison is considered a medium breed dog.
Harrison is very affectionate, but also likes to do his own thing from time to time. Give him a squeaky toy and he’ll keep himself busy for hours! He’s also a great communicator, and will let you know what’s on his mind.
Harrison is pretty laid back, and loves making new friends. Everyone who meets Harrison adores him. Caregivers have noted that he seems to do well with most other dogs. As always, when meeting dogs in a new home, a slow introduction is best.
Why not welcome Harrison into your heart and home? He’s neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in pet health insurance from Trupanion and a discount on training from Rover. Since he’s our Pet of the Week, Harrison’s adoption fee is reduced, but a pet license fee may still apply. Learn about all the benefits that come with a pet license at kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet.
