Pet of the Week: Aretha
Our Pet of the Week Aretha will make your heart sing!
This four-year-old mastiff mix first came in to the Pet Adoption Center in early August. She was quickly adopted, but it wasn’t a good fit. So, we’re on the hunt again for Aretha’s fur-ever home.
Aretha is a total lovebug who can’t get enough snuggles. She’s a large breed dog, so there’s a lot to snuggle for sure! Aretha loves to lean in for pets and get those oh-so-good scritches too.
As you can see in her photo, Aretha always has a big goofy smile on her face. She walks nicely on a leash, and enjoys a good game of fetch. Considering her size, Aretha would do best in a home with older children, or an adults-only home.
If you’re looking for a sweet, sensitive, affectionate companion – Aretha may be the one for you! She is spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. Her adoption comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in pet health insurance through Trupanion, a lifetime discount on online training from GoodPup, and a rebate on training through Rover. Best of all, you can adopt Aretha for just $30, but only until August 31 when our Clear The Shelters promotion ends. Your $30 fee covers the cost of a King County pet license, if applicable. Learn about all the benefits that come with a pet license at kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet.
