Pet of the Week: Juno

Get to know Juno, our Pet of the Week!

This five-year-old German Shepherd mix would love to find her fur-ever home. At 60 pounds, Juno is considered a large breed dog.

Juno is very sweet and kind, and already knows her basic commands like “sit” and “shake.” She’s food motivated, so that will help with further training. She also enjoys fetch!

She was adopted once, but the match didn’t work out. Juno would prefer a home where someone is around most of the day. While she gets along with other dogs that are gentle and easy-going, Juno is not a fan of cats. Because of her size, Juno would do best in an adults-only home, or one with older children or teenagers.

Can you give Juno the love she needs and deserves? She is spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. Her adoption comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in pet health insurance through Trupanion, a training rebate from Rover, and a lifetime discount on online training from GoodPup. Now through August 31, you can adopt Juno (or any dog or cat) for just $30 during our Clear The Shelters campaign. That fee covers the cost of a King County pet license. Learn about all the benefits that come with a pet license at kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet.
