Pet of the Week: Ronny

Look at that handsome face! This is Ronny, our Pet of the Week!

This three-year-old pittie boy is the perfect balance of playful energy and calm cuddles. At 66 pounds, he’s considered a large breed dog.

Ronny is very treat motivated, and already knows some basic commands. He’s eager to keep learning, and loves it when you encourage him with snacks and praise. Ronny is affectionate by nature and likes to be close to his people, whether that’s out on a walk or relaxing on the couch. He would do best in a calm, quiet home where he can feel safe and loved.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion, Ronny may be your guy! He is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in pet health insurance through Trupanion and a lifetime discount on online training from GoodPup. What’s more, you can adopt Ronny (or any dog or cat) for just $30 now through August 31 during our Clear The Shelters campaign.

We have dozens of dogs, cats, rabbits, and other pets waiting for their fur-ever home – why not come see them? We’re open noon to 5 p.m. weekdays and noon to 4 p.m. weekends for pet adoptions. You can also see all the wonderful pets we have waiting for you on our website at kingcounty.gov/AdoptAPet. If you have questions, contact RASKC at 206-296-7387 (PETS) or pets@kingcounty.gov.
