Pet of the Week: Maxine
Go to the max with Maxine, our Pet of the Week!
This young pittie mix is looking for her fur-ever home. At 65 pounds, Maxine is considered a large breed dog.
Maxine loves her toys, and likes to carry a stuffie in her mouth during walks. Our dog walking volunteers think it’s adorable! She also loves a good challenge, so caregivers keep her busy by feeding her with a maze feeder and offering lots of chew toys.
Maxine is very high energy, so she would do best in a home with older children, or with adults only. She is a very smart girl and loves treats, so she will be easy to train. Maxine is also one of our Playgroup Pals, as she gets along well with other dogs her size.
Would you like to make Maxine your own? She’s spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. Her adoption comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in pet health insurance from Trupanion and a lifetime discount on online training from GoodPup. Since she’s our Pet of the Week, Maxine’s adoption fee is reduced, but a pet license fee may still apply. Learn about all the benefits that come with a pet license at kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet.
Remember, we have daily pet adoption specials through July 31. See all of the great pets waiting to meet you at kingcounty.gov/AdoptAPet. Our adoption hours are noon to 5pm weekdays and noon to 4pm weekends. If you have questions, contact RASKC at 206-296-7387 (PETS) or email pets@kingcounty.gov.
