Pet of the Week: Timber
Come in to meet Timber, our Pet of the Week!
This senior German Shepherd was brought in as a stray, so we don’t know too much about his history. At 91 pounds, Timber is considered a large breed dog.
Timber is an older dog, so he mostly enjoys lounging around, lazy walks, and lots of love. Since he’s on the larger side, he does need some extra room – but mostly for stretching out than running around.
Timber is mostly calm and mild-mannered, though caregivers have noted that he might not get along with other dogs. We think he would do best as the only pet in his new home.
Can you give Timber the comfy place he needs to spend his golden years? He is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in pet health insurance through Trupanion and a lifetime discount on online training from GoodPup. As our Pet of the Week, Timber’s adoption fee is reduced, but a pet license fee may still apply. Learn about all the benefits that come with a pet license at kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet.
We have dozens of dogs, cats, rabbits, and other pets waiting for their fur-ever home – why not come see them? We’re open noon to 5 p.m. weekdays and noon to 4 p.m. weekends for pet adoptions. (Note that we will be closed on Friday, July 4 for the Independence Day holiday.) And don’t forget – we have daily adoption specials running through July 31.
