Pet of the Week: Kwame
Let us introduce you to Kwame, our Pet of the Week!
This four-year-old pittie boy was brought in by his previous owner in early April because they were moving and couldn’t take him with them. In his previous home, Kwame did well with people of all ages, including very small children.
Kwame loves to play, and especially loves stuffies. He weighs 98 pounds, so he’s considered a large breed dog. Kwame should weigh closer to 70 pounds though, so his new people will need to help him shed a little weight so he’s not such a “chonker.” Thankfully, Kwame seems to enjoy long walks!
Kwame is very smart, and already knows basic commands like “sit” and “down.” He’s outgoing and carefree, and likes to go with the flow. He will do well in a home where he can continue to learn his best doggie manners and become the best dog he can be.
Are you ready for Kwame, because he’s ready for you! He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in pet health insurance through Trupanion and a lifetime discount on online training from GoodPup. Since Kwame is our Pet of the Week, his adoption fee is reduced, though a pet license fee may still apply. Learn about all the benefits that come with a King County pet license at kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet.
