Pet of the Week: Theon

Looking for the perfect pup? Theon may be the one for you – and he’s our Pet of the Week!

This three-year-old Alaskan Husky came to us as a stray. At 65 pounds, Theon is considered a large breed dog.

Theon is a typical Husky: talkative and energetic! He loves to run around the yard, barking and playing. He has an independent personality, so a home that’s okay with a free-spirited dog would be ideal. Because of Theon’s size, he would do best in a home with dog-savvy older children or teenagers. He is still working on his manners, so his new people will need to be patient and work with him so he can become the best companion he can be.

Ready to take Theon home? He is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in pet health insurance through Trupanion and a lifetime discount on online training from GoodPup. Because he’s our Pet of the Week, Theon’s adoption fee is reduced, though a pet license fee may still apply. Learn about all the benefits that come with a King County pet license at kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet.
