Pet of the Week: Cocoa

Wouldn’t you like to cuddle with Cocoa, our affectionate Pet of the Week?

This five-year-old female pit bull mix is looking for a new home after her owners brought her in due to a family move. At 72 pounds, she’s considered a large breed dog (and could stand to lose a little weight).

Cocoa participates in play groups and does well with other large dogs. She lived in a home with another pit bull. When meeting dogs in her new home, a slow introduction would be best. She would do best in a home with older children. She is a very smart dog who is a pro at sitting, after seeing a treat in your hand first.

Come visit Cocoa soon! She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. Her adoption comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in pet health insurance through Trupanion and a lifetime discount on online training from GoodPup. Since Cocoa is our Pet of the Week, her adoption fee is reduced, though a pet license fee may still apply. Learn about all the benefits that come with a King County pet license at kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet.
