Pet of the Week: Bruce
Say hello to Bruce, our Pet of the Week!
This young Black Mouth Cur mix was brought in to the Pet Adoption Center by a good Samaritan in late January. At 63 pounds, he’s considered a large breed dog.
Bruce is just over a year old, so he’s a puppy in an adult body. He is very energetic and eager to learn. He does best when he gets lots of exercise and activities to keep his mind busy. Since he is still young, Bruce is still learning his best doggy manners. Fortunately, he is very treat motivated which will help in the process.
Bruce loves to run around the yard and smell ALL the smells. He’s a spirited dog with a fun-loving personality, and would love to be in an active home where he can have a lifetime of adventures.
Are you ready to fall in love with Bruce? He’s neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in pet health insurance through Trupanion and a lifetime discount on online training from GoodPup. During our “Share the Love” special through February 28, you can adopt Bruce (or any of our wonderful dogs) for just $50. A pet license fee may also apply. Learn about all the benefits that come with a King County pet license at kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet.
