Pet of the Week: Arnold

Hey Arnold! You’re our Pet of the Week!

This three-year-old pittie boy was brought in by one of our animal control officers in early December. At 57 pounds, he’s considered a large breed dog.

Despite his size, Arnold is a gentle and loving dog who likes to take things slow. Arnold is very affectionate, but also has an independent streak. At the Pet Adoption Center, he’s been practicing his commands like “sit” and “come.” He’s a quick learner!

Arnold is full of energy and LOVES to play! He does best when he gets lots of exercise and activities to keep his mind busy.

If you’re ready for Arnold, Arnold is ready for you! He is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in pet health insurance through Trupanion and a lifetime discount on online training from GoodPup. As Pet of the Week, Arnold’s adoption fee is reduced, though a pet license fee may still apply. Learn about all the benefits that come with a pet license at kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet.

The King County Pet Adoption Center is located at 21615 64th Ave. S. in Kent. Adoption hours are noon to 5 p.m. weekdays and noon to 4 p.m. weekends.
