Pet of the Week: Anita
We need a home for Anita, our Pet of the Week!
This young Akita mix was brought in to the Pet Adoption Center by a good Samaritan in mid-September. Anita is 54 pounds, which makes her a large breed dog.
While in our care, Anita has been practicing how to sit, stay, come, and shake. She’s very smart, and seems to do well with other large dogs. Anita is also very affectionate, and would love to cuddle up with you at home. As a two-year-old dog, she still has a lot of energy and loves to play. She will need lots of exercise in her new home, along with activities to keep her mind busy.
Are you interested in adopting Anita? She is spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. Her adoption comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in pet health insurance through Trupanion and a lifetime discount on online training from GoodPup. During our “Home for the Holidays” special, you can take Anita or any dog home for just the cost of a pet license – all adoption fees are waived! Learn about the benefits that come with a pet license at kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet.
