Pet of the Week: Shiso
Here’s a happy-go-lucky fellow for Pet of the Week – meet Shiso!
This five-year-old German Shepherd mix came to the Pet Adoption Center in late August thanks to a good Samaritan. At 55 pounds, Shiso is considered a large-breed dog.
Shiso is good on a leash and motivated by treats, toys, and people! He will happily “sit” and “shake” for a tasty morsel. Shiso is affectionate, and has a fun-loving personality. He is still working on his manners, so he will need a home with people who can help him become the best dog he can be.
Shiso is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in pet health insurance through Trupanion and a lifetime discount on online training from GoodPup. Now through December 31, we’re waiving adoption fees on all dogs – just pay for a pet license (where applicable) and you can take home a gift that will bring joy for years to come. Learn about all the great benefits that come with a pet license at kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet.
You can find out more about Shiso and all his friends on our website at kingcounty.gov/AdoptAPet. The King County Pet Adoption Center is located at 21615 64th Ave. S. in Kent.
