Pet of the Week: Amethyst

This sparkling gem is Amethyst, our Pet of the Week!

This young pittie mix was brought in to the Pet Adoption Center in mid-October and now she’s looking for her new home. At about 56 pounds, Amethyst is considered a large breed dog.

Amethyst loves treats, and will happily “sit” and “shake” for them. She is also full of energy and loves to play! Due to her high energy, she will thrive in a home without small children. She does best when she gets lots of exercise and activities to keep her mind busy.

She is still working on her manners, so patience will be key. A loving home with lots of attention will help Amethyst become the best dog she can be!

Would you like to adopt this precious jewel? She is spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. Her adoption comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in pet health insurance through Trupanion and a lifetime discount on online training from GoodPup. Because she’s our Pet of the Week, Amethyst’s adoption fee has been reduced, but a pet license fee may still apply.
