Pet of the Week: Milo

Ready for adventure? Then Pet of the Week Milo is ready for you!

This one-year-old Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie mix came to us in mid-September as a stray. At 43 pounds, Milo is considered a medium-breed dog.

Milo is a sweet boy with lots of energy to keep up with an active household. He’s also very smart, quick to pick up on new rules and routines. Milo is still young, so it will be important for his people to help him learn how to be the best dog he can be.

While he hasn’t had interactions with other dogs at the Pet Adoption Center yet, the people who found Milo say he interacted well with other dogs while in their care, and was very friendly. Milo loves all the people he meets, and could do well in many types of homes. He’s adaptable and carefree, and can’t wait to find his fur-ever home!

Like all pets from RASKC, Milo is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in pet health insurance from Trupanion. His adopters also get a lifetime discount on online training through GoodPup. And now, during our October dog adoption special, you can take Milo home for just $50, plus the cost of a pet license if applicable. Learn about all the benefits that come with a pet license at kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet.

Adoption hours are noon to 5 p.m. weekdays and noon to 4 p.m. weekends. You can see all the animals available for adoption anytime at kingcounty.gov/AdoptAPet.
