Pet of the Week: Nora

Is that not the sweetest face you’ve ever seen? This is Nora, our Pet of the Week!

This brown tabby girl was abandoned at the Pet Adoption Center last month. As you can imagine, she was terrified and wary of new people after that.

While she can still be hissy at first, Nora is slowly letting her guard down. Once she warms up to you, she will happily accept chin scratches – they’re her favorite!

Due to Nora’s shy nature, she would do best in a calm, quiet home without young children. Her new family will need to be patient and allow her to acclimate to her new environment at her own pace. Nora is a gentle and loving cat who likes to take things slow. She may get nervous in new situations, so she needs people who understand that she might need time to adjust. Once she gets to know you, Nora will be a very devoted friend!

Nora is spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. Her adoption comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in pet insurance through Trupanion. Since she is our Pet of the Week, Nora’s adoption fee has been reduced, though a pet license fee may still apply. You can learn about all the great benefits that come with a pet license at kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet.
