Pet of the Week: Max
Go to the max with Max, our Pet of the Week!
This young Belgian Malinois mix came to us as a stray earlier this month.
When he arrived, Max was very fearful and didn’t trust anyone. But, he’s been working on coming out of his shell and seems to really like people who take the time to get to know him. Max is a very active boy and always on the move, so an active home will be a good fit for him.
Max already knows basic commands like sit, down, and catch, and is ready to learn more. Due to his shyness, Max would do best in an adults-only home, or a home with teenage children. Max is still working on his manners, so he will need people who can work with him to become the best dog he can be.
Max is ready for you – are you ready for him? He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in pet health insurance from Trupanion, and a lifetime discount on online training through GoodPup. During our Clear The Shelters promotion now through September 10, you can adopt Max or any pet for just $30 – the cost of a pet license. Learn about all the benefits that come with a pet license at kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet.
