Pet of the Week: Hightower
Bring some highlights into your life with Hightower, our Pet of the Week!
This one-year-old brown tabby boy came to the Pet Adoption Center as a stray. He was very shy when he first came in, because he was surrounded by new people and new situations. But, he has started to come out of his shell and now needs a fur-ever home!
Hightower loves to be petted, but isn’t a huge fan of being held – so he’d probably make a good lap cat. It may take him some time to warm up, but once he gets to know you, you have a friend for life! Hightower gets nervous in new situations, so he’ll need a home with people who understand that he likes to take things slow.
Hightower has been neutered, litterbox trained, microchipped, and is current on vaccinations. His adoption comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in pet health insurance through Trupanion. Since he’s our Pet of the Week, Hightower’s adoption fee is reduced, but a pet license fee may still apply. Learn about all the benefits that come with a pet license at kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet.
The King County Pet Adoption Center is open weekdays from noon to 5 p.m., and weekends noon to 4 p.m., for adoptions.
