Pet of the Week: Dolphin

No need to “fish” for a great companion – here’s Dolphin, our Pet of the Week!

Dolphin is an orange tabby cat that is just about a year old. He was brought in to the Pet Adoption Center in late May by one of our animal control officers.

This spunky boy is very affectionate, and would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home. He does like to do his own thing at times, so his people will need to know when to give him some alone time too.

Dolphin seems to get along well with other cats, but as always a slow and careful introduction to other kitties in his new home is recommended. He will need time to acclimate to his new environment at his own pace. Once he gets to know you, Dolphin will be a very devoted friend!

“Swim” on over to the Pet Adoption Center soon to meet Dolphin! He is neutered, litterbox trained, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in pet health insurance through Trupanion. Since he’s our Pet of the Week, Dolphin’s adoption fee is reduced, though a pet license fee may still apply. Learn about all the benefits that come with a pet license at kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet.

We’ve got tons of furry friends waiting to go home with you! The King County Pet Adoption Center is located at 21615 64th Ave. S. in Kent. Walk-in adoption hours are noon to 5 p.m. weekdays and noon to 4 p.m. weekends. All of our adoptable pets can be seen on our website at kingcounty.gov/AdoptAPet.
