Pet of the Week: Kagome
This sparkling jewel is Kagome, our Pet of the Week!
Kagome was brought in by one of our animal control officers in early December. At 60 pounds, she’s considered a large breed dog.
Kagome is a German Shepherd with a ton of energy. She will need lots of room to play, along with lots of activities to keep her active mind busy. While she’s very independent, she’s also a “go with the flow” kind of girl, so she’s one of our Easy Going Green personality pets. Kagome seems to do well with other dogs, but when meeting new dogs in her new home, a slow introduction will be best. And because she’s so high energy, Kagome would do best in a home with older children.
Can you give this outgoing, carefree, and active girl the home she needs? Kagome is spayed, microchipped, and current on vaccinations. Her adoption comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in pet health insurance through Trupanion. Since she’s our Pet of the Week, Kagome’s adoption fee is reduced, though a pet license fee may still apply. Learn about all the benefits that come with a pet license at kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet.
