Pet of the Week: Barry

Who is this handsome boy? Why it’s Barry, our Pet of the Week!

This young pittie mix came to us in early November. When he first arrived, Barry was very timid, but he’s starting to come out of his shell. He’s still a little nervous, but very treat motivated so he can easily be won over with a few delicious doggie snacks!

At 60 pounds, Barry is considered a large breed dog. He has a Rambunctious Red personality, and is still working on his best doggie manners. He would do best in a calm, quiet home without children, as loud noises and fast movements can startle him. Barry is looking for the people who can help him become the best dog he can be.

Barry is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in pet health insurance through Trupanion. Since he’s our Pet of the Week, Barry’s adoption fee has been reduced, though a pet license fee may still apply. Learn about all the great benefits that come with a pet license at kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet.
