Pet of the Week: Darron
He’s cute as a button – meet Darron, our Pet of the Week!
This white and brown shorthair rabbit came to us in late October. Darron is looking for a rabbit-savvy family that can provide him with lots of love and attention. While he came in alone, Darron could potentially be bonded with another rabbit with the proper introductions. RASKC can help you learn more about the rabbit bonding process, or even host a “speed date” to find a match!
Like all rabbits, Darron needs the proper balance of pellet food, timothy hay, fresh veggies, and access to fresh water to thrive. He will also need room to roam, with space to “hide out,” a litter box, and play area. Although a cage is good to keep him safe, Darron will also need time outside his enclosure each day to stretch his legs, explore, and exercise. (Be sure to bunny-proof the space!) Darron is a bit shy, and he can get spooked – and rabbits are fast when they want to be!
Ready to run with a rabbit? Darron’s adoption comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in pet health insurance through Trupanion. As our Pet of the Week, Darron’s adoption fee has been reduced, and there is no pet license requirement for rabbits in King County.
