Pet of the Week: Carter
Say hello to Carter, our Pet of the Week!
This affectionate lovebug was brought in by a good Samaritan in late September. At 60 pounds, Carter is considered a large breed dog.
Since he’s just two years old, Carter still has a lot of puppy energy in him, so he’s one of our “Rambunctious Red” personality pets. Carter LOVES to play! He does best when he gets lots of exercise and has activities to keep his mind busy. He is still working on his doggy manners, so Carter would thrive in a home where his people can work with him to become the best dog he can be. Carter tends to stay calmer when the people around him are calm.
Are you ready to fall in love with this awesome boy? He is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in pet insurance through Trupanion. Plus, since he’s our Pet of the Week, Carter’s adoption fee has been reduced, though a pet license fee may still apply. Learn about all the benefits that come with a pet license at kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet.
You can visit Carter at the King County Pet Adoption Center, 21615 64th Ave. S. in Kent. Walk-in adoption hours are noon to 5 p.m. weekdays and noon to 4 p.m. on weekends. You can see all the adoptable animals anytime online at kingcounty.gov/AdoptAPet. For questions, contact RASKC at 206-296-7387 (PETS) or email pets@kingcounty.gov.
