Pet of the Week: Ted
We’re exciTED to introduce you to our Pet of the Week – Ted!
This young Labrador Retriever mix is a total toy hound! He loves playing with squeaky toys – his current favorite is a squeaky tennis shoe. He likes to carry it around and proudly show it off to people! He would love to have a home with squeakies and plushies all his own.
At almost 70 pounds, Ted is considered a large breed dog. He likes to lean into people, so someone who likes a big snuggly dog would be a good match for him. Ted likes to keep his space with other dogs and keep his company strictly human. Ted is still working on his manners, including walking on a leash, but he does know a few basic commands. He has a “Rambunctious Red” personality, so he would do best in a home with people who will work with him to become the best dog he can be. A home with a nice, big, enclosed yard would be ideal.
Are you ready to welcome Ted into your heart and home? He is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. Ted’s adoption comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in pet insurance through Trupanion. Since he is our Pet of the Week, Ted’s adoption fee has been reduced, though a license fee may still apply. Learn about all the benefits that come with a pet license at kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet.
