Pet of the Week: Lulu

Have we got a Pet of the Week for you – meet Lulu!

This gorgeous longhair girl first came to RASKC in March. She was adopted, but had to come back earlier this month because she was not a fan of the other cats in the house. Lulu did get along with the dog, though.

Lulu is an affectionate lovebug who enjoys cuddling – once she gets to know you. She has a “Bashful Blue” personality, which means she’s a gentle and loving cat that likes to take things slow. Once she warms up to you, Lulu will be a very devoted friend! She may get nervous in new situations, so she will need a family who understands she may need some time to warm up.

Lulu has had chronic ear infections which caused her ear canals to narrow. She also has some small growths, probably as a result of the irritation. These changes may cause Lulu to be more susceptible to ear infections in the future, so she will need regular follow-ups with a veterinarian.

Interested in adopting Lulu? She’s spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. Her adoption comes with 30 days of opt-in pet insurance through Trupanion. As our Pet of the Week, Lulu’s adoption fee has been reduced, but a pet license fee may still apply. Check out all the great benefits that come with a pet license at kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet.

We have lots and lots of furry friends waiting for their forever families at the Pet Adoption Center – why not come meet them? We’re located at 21615 64th Ave. S. in Kent. Walk-in adoption hours are noon to 5 p.m. weekdays, and noon to 4 p.m. on weekends. You can also see all of our adorable adoptables online at kingcounty.gov/AdoptAPet. If you have questions, contact RASKC at 206-296-7387 (PETS) or pets@kingcounty.gov.
