Pet of the Week: Princess
How about some royalty for Pet of the Week? This is Princess!
This young pittie was brought in to the Pet Adoption Center by an animal control officer. She was adopted once, but sadly had to return to us because her family was moving away and they couldn’t take her.
At more than 90 pounds, Princess is considered a large breed dog. Before coming to RASKC, Princess lived outside her whole life, so she is still learning basic doggie manners. She gets so excited when people visit that she may jump on them. Princess loves to give and get affection, and she loves treats!
Princess is an independent dog, and would do best in a home without other animals. She is full of energy and loves to play, so Princess is a “Rambunctious Red” personality pet. Lots of exercise and activities to keep her mind busy are important – thankfully, she loves to play fetch!
Princess is ready for her new “castle” – maybe yours? She is spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. Her adoption comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in pet insurance through Trupanion. Since she is our Pet of the Week, her adoption fee is reduced, though a pet license fee may still apply. Learn about all the benefits that come with a pet license at kingcounty.gov/LicenseMyPet.
We’d love to see you at the Pet Adoption Center. Walk-in adoption hours are noon to 5 p.m. weekdays, and noon to 4 p.m. on weekends. The center is located at 21615 64th Ave. S. in Kent. You can also see all of our available pets online at kingcounty.gov/AdoptAPet. For questions, contact RASKC at 206-296-7387 (PETS) or email pets@kingcounty.gov.
