RASKC is lucky to have the opportunity to work with several outstanding adoption partners. We really appreciate the support we receive from each partner, including all of their efforts to help more animals find their forever homes!
Now, we are excited to announce that we will be working with a new adoption partner: NEKO Cat Café. Located in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood, NEKO will offer an open space for cats to roam and play while interacting with customers.
This partnership is unique because all of the RASKC cats going to NEKO will be positive for FeLV, or Feline Leukemia Virus, which affects a cat’s immune system. We hope that sending these cats to NEKO will provide special exposure to help them get adopted faster. We also want to spread the word that although FeLV-positive cats may have special medical needs, they can still be fantastic pets and live very happy lives! Check out the FAQ sheet from Best Friends Animal Society on Feline Leukemia Virus to learn more.
