Pet of the Week: Caesar

Hail to Caesar, our Pet of the Week!

This young boy was brought in by an animal control officer in mid-May, so he’s been with us for a little while.

When he was found, Caesar was having what was possibly a seizure. However, he has been normal while at the Pet Adoption Center, with normal bloodwork. Like all pets, routine veterinary care will keep Caesar in good health.

Caesar likes getting pets on his cheeks, but is a little nervous about being picked up.  Because of his shy nature, Caesar would do best in a calm, quiet home.  His personality color is Bashful Blue, meaning he is a gentle and loving cat who likes to take things slow. Caesar may get nervous in new situations, so he would like a family who understands that he might need some time to warm up.  Once he gets to know you, Caesar will be a very devoted friend!

Do you have room in your heart and home for this treasure? Caesar is neutered, current on vaccinations and microchipped. His adoption comes with a free visit to the veterinarian of your choice and 30 days of opt-in pet insurance from Trupanion.  Since he is our Pet of the Week, his adoption fee has been reduced, although a pet license fee may still apply.

You can find out more about Caesar and all his other friends waiting for their new homes on our website at kingcounty.gov/AdoptAPet. RASKC continues to do adoptions by appointment for now, so make a reservation on the website.  If you have more questions, contact RASKC at 206-296-7387 (PETS) or email pets@kingcounty.gov.
