Graduating from: University for International Cooperation (San José, Costa Rica) with a master’s degree in project management and Fitchburg State University (Fitchburg, MA) with a master’s degree in business administration

RASKC Teams: Fostering (and aspires to volunteer in the vet clinic)

How your graduation experience will be unique due to the pandemic: “There was so much to grieve about past year. Being in good mental health, however, I chose to concentrate on achieving master’s degrees which has been forever my dream. But due to work, travel and busy life it was never the time before. This pandemic gave me a lot of time to concentrate on personal development.”

Hoping this will continue post-pandemic: “Take time to achieve self-development goals and make dreams come true. Make time for yourself.”

Most proud of in the last year or two: I am so proud to be part of an amazing organization like Microsoft and to work with great leaders for giving me the flexibility to learn, the opportunity to help so many others fulfill their dreams just like me. Immense gratitude to my managers and to my husband for helping me achieve my dreams.”

Looking forward to: “Educating, bringing awareness about dog breeds and their compatibility. Helping rehome animals in need. Volunteer more hours in rescue and foster care.”

What’s next: “Mentoring others, helping with tuition fees/ aids for people aspiring to learn and grow. You never know what tomorrow holds; it is so important to be grateful to every blessing and share the blessing with many others.”

Most memorable volunteering experience: “The RASKC staff are SOOO amazing, including Sarah Luthens. What amazing people, the passion to help animals in need, the process to find homes for these beautiful animals such organized committee from training to foster care. Great team!”

Advice to new RASKC volunteers: “When you are in doubt just talk to the Staff… you will return with great passion to help.”

Will you volunteer after graduation?  “Yes! 100% awaiting for more opportunities as things open after pandemic.”

Fun fact: My dogs have travelled to four countries 🙂 Dogs are family and never leave them behind for any reason.”
