Pet of the Week: Kano
Pet of the Week Kano is looking out for his forever home!
This young boxer mix loves meeting new people and going for walks. While he’s not much interested in treats, Kano does take them gently when he wants one.
When Kano was brought to RASKC, he had marks across his shoulder and under his chest where a harness had grown into his body. The veterinarians say it should heal up.
Kano is learning to sit on command and to not pull the leash when going for walks. He is doing well with both!
Because Kano can be a bit dominant when meeting other dogs, he would need to meet any current dogs in your home before being adopted. He is also a bit of an escape artist and can get out of fenced yards, so he shouldn’t be left unsupervised in a yard.
If you’re looking for a sweet and loving guy to join your family, Kano could be the one for you! He is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. You can find out more about Kano on our website, www.kingcounty.gov/AdoptAPet, or visit him at our Kent pet adoption center.
See you soon!
